I grew up in Tanzania where the marketplace is the heartbeat of any village, town or city. It’s a place where you can get anything you need, but also find unexpected treasures.
Like me, Oya delights in many aspects of the human experience. One of Oya’s domains is the marketplace.

My name is Serian Leti Strauss.
I believe that when transformation is held with supportive care, it can be joyful, healing, and creative.
I am a coach, facilitator, artist, and former classroom teacher who has lived many lives. As a Black, mixed-race, non-binary queerdo from Tanzania, I carry multiple worlds that inform what I do.
My approach honors the healing connection between individual and collective, Ancestors and Land and the Spirit of Everyday things. This philosophy is embodied through playfulness, care and a devotion Beauty. I have an unwavering belief in our ability to change, heal and become our Destiny.
